I read the chapters you sent me with great interest and very much like the way you treat the subject of coaching. I think it's good that you provide firm foundations for your approach and build a coherent structure upon them. There are a lot of publications about the techniques of coaching and it's therefore refreshing to see books, like yours and Flaherty's, which go to the heart of what it means to coach and to be a coach. I like too the way you weave together the individual and organisational aspects of coaching. There comes a time in every professional career that you look back to see if you've made a difference or touched some lives along the way.

Congratulations on having done that very thing. You took the time to write about something that will help a lot of professional people. And the time commitment was no small endeavor.

I know I don't tell you often enough, but in my opinion, your talents and skills are at a level very rarely seen in business. Your ability to focus on key issues and follow them through to resolution is something that sets an example for business coaches everywhere.

Although I haven't yet read your book but fully intend to, I know it will be filled with insight, wisdom and mostly it will share with it's readers glimpses of the real Mike Jay, a man whose heart rules his life.
